Haagen Dazs Ice Cream Reviews
Limited Edition Peppermint Bark:
A very creamy white chocolate ice cream. Normally, the white chocolate would keep me from eating it. (I'm a chocolate lover who believes white chocolate doesn't deserve to be called chocolate. I only eat the brown kind.)
But, since this has so many little crunchy bits and pieces of peppermint bark in every bite, I couldn't even detect the white chocolate I despise. In fact, I really like this ice cream and would buy it again.
(Since it's a limited edition and stores are running out of it, I may have to wait until next winter to have it again. Oh well!)
Cinnamon Dulce De Leche:
Caramel lovers will enjoy this as long as they also like cinnamon. There is plenty of caramel as it has a caramel swirl in a caramel flavored ice cream.
The "hint of cinnamon" is much more than a hint. It's a bit in the forefront of the flavor, yet not too overwhelming.
Still, I think it would be better without the addition of cinnamon. Good thing they make regular Dulce De Leche.
Vanilla Swiss Almond:
I didn't care for this particular vanilla flavor. It had a funny after taste.
Also, the ice cream did not have enough chocolate covered almonds. When I took the lid off, there were no visible chunks. I had to go digging for them.
Unfortunately, there's nothing exciting about this flavor to persuade me to buy it again. Of course, that's just my opinion.
