Exactly what I said. The vitamix is the best blender in the world!

I love using mine to make healthy ice cream and smoothies in 30 seconds. I'm in complete control of what goes in my blender recipes. (That's a relief when you have a kid with food allergies.) And, When I want something quick but don't want to wait for ice cream to churn, I just get out my vitamix.

It really does the job.

It's powerful enough to pulverize whole foods including the seeds and can even make the core of a fresh pineapple smooth (something you can't do with a "regular" blender). I love that it breaks down the cell walls of the fruits and vegetables we eat and allows us to get right to the nutrients. It helps me reach my goal of offering a well balanced diet to my family.

How many kids do you know that eat enough vegetables? Mine are eating more than they were before we had a vitamix. Now they get some raw vegetables in their ice cream and smoothies in addition to the raw or cooked vegetables served with their meals.

Making a quick healthy frozen treat for a snack in between meals is the way to go. ( Don't get me wrong, we still eat cake and cookies. We aren't health nuts, we are simply using our vitamix as a tool to make sure we comsume the amount of fruits and vegetables we need each day.)

Sometimes we make soup or grind grains for homemade bread.
It's amazing that you can do so many things with one appliance.

And, the money I saved from not going to smoothie shops has more than paid for my vitamix.

I've owned my vitamix for a few years now. A wise investment, I'd say.

It still works the same as when I bought it. Haven't had any problems with it, but I know if I do, my warranty is good for 7 years.
My parents had one when I was growing up. Theirs lasted at least 15 years.
When my warranty expires, I can either turn in mine and get a discount on a new one, or just keep it knowing that it may last as long as the one my parents had.
